VIA sued Apple for A4, A5 patents.

Taiwanese chipmaker VIA Technologies have sued Apple for allegedly infringing on patents related to the microprocessors used in its iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. Complaint was filed yesterday through a federal court in Wilmington, Delaware which involves three US patents.
Although the complaint did not specifically name the infringing products, the working suggests the issue is related to the A4 and A5 chips that Apple has used in its iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices since 2010.
“The products at issue generally concern microprocessors included in a variety of electronic products such as certain smartphones, tablet computers, portable media players and other computing devices,” said VIA in the complaint.
