RIM to compensate for the massive outage.


After the restoration of the massive outage, RIM faced tweets from all around the world for compensation. And now RIM CEO Jim Balsillie promises of compensating to it's valuable Carriers for their immense support at time of crisis.
“This has not been about pointing fingers,” said Balsillie. “This has been about serving customers.”Now, that service has been restored, we’re starting to see how these carriers are making it up to their customers. Carriers in Spain are bound to pay for the affected service to their customers.
It's not yet clear to what extent RIM will be compensating, if they don’t reach out their customers, RIM could face legal pressure from them. RIM has faced this situation before and it's not new to them. Now it seems there is no way RIM can get out of this mess without compensating for such big issue.
