Sprint’s first eco-friendly 4G LTE smartphone, LG Viper is here

Only few smartphones were revealed at CES 2012, and ecofriendly phones got least number of visitors, however it was still represented. Only two companies represented their smartphones in ecofriendly category that is Samsung’s Exhilarate 4G LTE for AT&T’s network and the second one is the LG Viper which will be launched on Sprint, Samsung’s Exhilarate featuring LTE support along with all those decent features we'd expect from a latest smartphone. This phones are made of 35 % recycled material but if you compare it with other smartphones by Samsung it will stand nowhere.
Talking about LG Viper, it looks pretty cool and its built gives a nice feel, although it’s a bit thicker than Samsung’s Exhilarate. Although it does not exhibit any spectacular feature that would make it stand out from the crowd but it's not ugly either.
It comes with awesome display i.e LG’s own 4 inch NOVA unit, which is much more brighter than other LCD displays while consuming 50% less power
LG Viper is powered by a dual core 1.2 GHz Tegra 2 processor, which support almost all applications and games. One of the major demerit in its hardware is it's RAM i.e 512 MB of RAM, although with Android Gingerbread, it’s more than enough.
The other hardware specifications of the LG Viper are 4G LTE radio, Wifi N and Bluetooth adapters, GPS, DLNA compatibility, a 5 megapixels camera on the back side with support for 720p HD video recording and 1.3 megapixels camera on the front that should be great for video calls. According to Sprint this phone will be launched by spring 2012 and according to our prediction it would cost less then $ 100 as it is a budget device.
